It does more harm than good.

We already have unemployment insurance. If you are unemployed, file on that.

If you are on welfare, food stamps, disability, social security, then those are not affected.

If you are a government employee - state, local, federal - you will continue to get paid.

There is no reason for a $3 trillion bailout.

Dems are literally poll testing how to proceed during a National Emergency.

They are evil as hell.

They need to cut federal employees pay by 50%. If they can shut down private industry, they need to feel the pain as well. After all, aren't they preaching we're all in this together?

You sound like liberals who want the rich to pay their fair share.

The point of sending a check to everyone isn’t to necessarily make up for those unemployed, it’s to inject money into the economy. They want people to get the $1,000 check and spend it. Just going through the unemployment system won’t accommodate for that.

The 3 trillion dollar bailout will be to save wealthy people. Normal
People may get a thousand or so but they are going to maintain their wealth. They don’t give a frick if we have to eat each other.

I understand that. I’m just against it.

And you are saying in its purest form. This bill will include billions of other crap.

This is a liberal, big-government wet dream,

You cant go from a 24 Trillion dollar economy to zero for 30 to 90 days and not experience massive loses and consequences?

The problem with sending out checks now is that businesses most hurt (the ones closed) won't benefit one lick.

We will be stimulating the businesses who least need it.

I'd rather just see some sort of tax credit towards major expenses like mortgage/rent/utilities.
