I hate the virtue signaling

The capitol riot was not a riot. This was childsplay compared to the months of BLM and Antifa terrorism.
Now everyone is in lock step to boycott and take down everything right wing because they want to show how woke they are. Spare me the bullshite.

I've seen enough footage, some of the instances were absolutely a riot.
It was a rally turned protest turned riot. Not everyone who rallied or protested rioted.
The rioters were a very small portion of the protesters. Going off Summer 2020 standards it would be labeled as mostly peaceful.

It was an entirely peaceful protest just like every other MAGA rally, outside of the "breach" led by ANTIFA provocateurs.

If your protest involves ransacking a building, it’s a riot. Sorry, it’s not fair that the MSM gives them a pass for the BLM riots, but doesn’t change Wednesday was a riot.

It was mostly peaceful. Only like what 600 people out of 300,000 people got into the Capitol building. Ted Bundy also lived a mostly peaceful life. Sure he spent 2% of his life murdering women and raping their corpses, but the other 98% he was peaceful.

That said, I'm not retarded, and can admit that part of what happened on Jan 6th was indeed a riot (by my own standards).

Politicians only concern with what happened is that it happened in what they thought of as their safe space. They are fine with riots out in flyover country. They are fine with telling people to publicly confront members of the oppostion. They are fine with it because they are insulated from it. Once things got a little close, they panicked.
