If you look at expenses over a year instead of week to week, it's almost always more economical to buy in bulk for things you go through. And filling the tank up instead of putting $5 in the tank every couple days- keeps the fuel system cleaner.
Oh for fricks sake.
Spare me this BS, that’s exactly what it is you weird frick.

You ever run out of TP when you have the liquid shits? I never will again. And loading 9mm I had it down to .05 a round.

Not hoarding anything, but I do not like your attitude. So frick you too.

When the SHTF, I’ll shoot you with my ammo, take a dump on you then wipe with my TP, and then pour my gas on your corpse and light you on fire. Thanks for leaving me enough AMMO, gas and TP.
You sound like a dude that'll be sucking dick on the corner for a pack of cigarettes.

Are you a child, or are you just now looking at ammo?
I've been a gun owner and recreational shooter for decades. I've seen shortages before, and price fluctuations. I like to shoot, and when I see a case of ammo (1K) for $160, I know 2 things- that's a good price, and it will get shot. I have my stash, and none of it is for sale or profit. It's for my own entertainment, just like some guys have golf clubs. And when someone close to me needs something for personal safety, I give them a box. I don't sell it, I hand it to them. That box cost me $8, well worth helping a family member out.
I'm sorry that prices are $40 for the same thing now, but I didn't cause that, nor am I buying it at that price thankfully. If you waited until it got there, that's wholly on you, because it sat at that low price for literally YEARS.
Toilet paper? Yeah, that panic run was silly. I'd buy the econopack for the household like everyone else. But you know what? We gotta shite. So when it started getting scooped up by everyone like it was gold, it was time to get some. Because I'm not going to wipe my arse with my hand, just to prove I'm not a "sheep".
Gas- filling the tank is hoarding now? What, do you just not plan on driving anytime soon? I do, I have to work. I will burn the gas soon enough, it's not like I fill up once every other month. If you see signs that things might dry up, you need to make the decision- do I need gas for the next week, or am I good? What do you do when a hurricane is in the Gulf- wait until it hits to get stuff (or try to freeload on others), or spend your money on necessities?
Find a different outlet for your anger. Most people are just trying to live their lives.

OP mad because he was too slow to get some and had a dirty arse last year.

I’m not angry at all.
I’m just not buying your bullshite.
Just admit you are weird and you hoard.

Somebody on a different board asked me a few months ago why I started prepping after COVID started. No need to say anything at this point to said poster, situations like now are precisely why I have 30 days of food and water in the house to feed a family of 4, along with the weapons and ammo needed to protect them. And the stash grows a little each time I go to the store.

Listening to Kudlow on Hannity; he said that if Colonial don't get that pipeline going by Friday...things are going to go down fast. Electrical Grid problems.
You may want to rethink that hoarding opinion, and join the stampede.

Nothing flowing through that pipeline is used to generate power, it's not a natural gas pipe. What you will see is empty grocery store shelves with trucks not able to deliver to stores.
Having said that, again, we forget that there is another pipeline running full capacity delivering to the same markets and in many cases the same distribution terminals. We haven't gone from 100% supplies to 0%.

You seem like a pleasant fellow. And you would be the sheep since you think all is well.
Also why do you have an issue with hoarding? If i have 100,000 rounds purchased 100 at a time how did that affect you? If i have a 1000 rolls of TP purchased 1 pack at a time how did that affect you? It didn't. It just means I'm prepared and thought ahead. My surplus isn't affecting you.
Hoarders aren't driving up prices and creating shortages. Panic buying morons are doing this. People who run out and try to buy 90 packs of TP at once or all the 9MM on the shelf. Those people are assholes and idiots.
