so he assaulted/battered at least one protestor while carrying a weapon illegally and then shot another protestor while defending himself from the crowd? both him and the skateboard guy should go to jail it seems like to me.

That Antifa guy would not have been arrested for beating on the guy with his skateboard. This has been seen repeatedly the past month.

It looks like the guy who shot may not be totally blameless in causing the confrontation that resulted in the shooting. I'm not being anti-self defense, but sometimes people try to claim self-defense when they themselves were at least partially at-fault for causing the confrontation.
