Venezuela is chewing up a lot of central and South America. Their refugees are everywhere and they’re not the best of people. Last year I went to Colombia and the Venezuelans were everywhere and very aggressive. They’re causing all kinds of problems affecting the quality of life.

Stopping Liberation Theology, the new version of communism in the western hemisphere, is the top priority of the MAGA movement.

That's an incredibly truncated perspective when there are so many grey areas and secondary/tertiary variables.
I don't want to get into another war but Maduro is literally a Cartel Leader and has corrupted the entire nation, and his product ends up right here killing US citizens on US soil.

Mexico's cartels are much closer. Why don't we start with them, make an example and see how many other countries fall in line?

This is very true. We complain about the 300,000 Venezuelans here but in Colombia there are 3,000,000. It has completely disrupted their country and economy.
If Maduro falls Cuban will not be far behind.

Poor Columbia. The country that actually traffics a significant amount of drugs here in reality. Too bad there’s no footage on Fox News of Columbian drug boats being blown up by the U.S. Navy or perhaps we’d think to take out their government too.
Sounds like the 3,000,000 Venezuelans are fricking up Columbia for us. So how about we just sit back and let this play out?

easy. Mexico's not rich in oil like Venezuela is.
It isn't actually about drugs - that's just the excuse. This is about oil and making the rich oligarchs even richer. Same as it ever was.

Because the Chinese and Russians have yet to earn a major foothold in Mexico.

lol
cartels will slaughter any dissent in Mexico. there is no loyalty from their army or police, and those who are, have to hide their identities for fear of their families being slaughtered.

I wouldn’t be sad if the socialists lost power there, but I don’t want US boots on the ground.
We need to learn lessons from the Venezuelan experience.
1. Crushing poverty and shortages as a result of voting choices.
2. They voted their way in, but can’t vote their way out.

You're damn right it's about oil but that's only part of it. Venezuela is one of the largest net exporters of oil on the planet. The Venezuelans have nationalized their oil industries and are heavily in bed with the Russians and the Chinese. Would you like that to continue or would you like to see that oil in the hands of a government more friendly to the United States?
At the end of the day, this comes down to the Monroe Doctrine. This is OUR hemisphere and it has been our government's policy for over 200 years to keep outside influence from interjecting into this part of the world.

So lets go to war with China, Afghanistan, Colombia, and Mexico as well since they provide drugs too

You have a nice house. There is a ghetto on the other side of town. You can’t do anything about the ghetto. However, if the ghetto thugs show up in your front yard, you can do something and should do something about it.
In this case, Venezuela is the front yard.
The people can’t revolt. The Cubans have thoroughly infiltrated the military so as to prevent any dissident troops from overthrowing the illegal government.
Read Mary Anastasia O’Grady’s stuff in the WSJ.

And the Russians and Chinese didn’t need to start a fricking war to gain that advantage.
The retards that run our government don’t bother pursuing legitimate diplomatic goals with these countries. We send the CIA fricksticks to do a color revolution hoping to install a puppet government. Meanwhile these mother frickers know exactly what we’re up to (because we do it all the time) and shut down whatever diplomatic activity they may have been doing with us because of our bullshite. No shite they’re going to look to deal with China or Russia and not the assholes threatening them, trying to murder them and overthrow their government every 10 minutes.

Not coming from Venezuela. Fake news.
So you’re adamant that Venezuela is not involved in production, trafficking, trading, or laundering any narco activity that is killing Americans?
That’s your actual stance?
It can be coming from China, from Mexico, from Canada via both of those launch points, AND simultaneously coming from Venezuela as well, Roger.
Whether America should be in Venezuela to combat this problem is a different question to debate, but before we get there, your stance is that there is actually no narco problem involving Venezuela and even if there were narco problems in Venezuela, they aren’t killing Americans?
