mueller is still investigating him and will still be until 2025 at least, it will never end.

the recent announcement is a simple process crime dealing with a campaign funds issue that requires trump to have willingly used campaign money in an illegal way to pay off the sloot.

trump is on tape saying specifically that she should be paid off in a legal way with private funds not related in any way to the campaign.

MSM is just spinning a nothing burger again trying to imply a crime that doesnt exist.

people on the right are celebrating the nothing burger and laughing about it but it means nothing as far as the SC investigation is ever going to stop

They dug into every aspect of his life, raided his lawyer's office, coerced witnesses, pushed process crimes, etc., and all they came up with were payments to silence bimbos.

So, effectively less significant bimbo issues than Clinton had and less significant campaign finance issues than Obama had, and absolutely no collusion which was the pretext for the fishing expedition/witch hunt.

You seem to believe that Friday’s filings were some sort of final report.

Doc....did you think Cohen flipped and gave the goods on Russia? Are you now satisfied that you will be forced to hope for campaign finance violations?

It's a good question. If you look at the sentencing memos, Mueller's was much more positive about Cohen's cooperation than SDNY's (Cohen ended up not getting a cooperation deal because he wouldn't open up about knowledge of other criminal schemes, likely related to thet Trump org). He did plead guilty to lying to Congress about the Moscow Trump Tower Project and that he had previewed his testimony with the White House. It doesn't say Trump directed him to lie, but implies that Trump knew about him lying. Mueller will have asked him all of the other relevant questions - Artemenko Plan, Prague (or some other city) meeting reference in the dossier, what the president knew and when he knew it.

This seems astonishingly dumb.

Asking for proof of innocence..or "being cleared"..is hand in glove with some evidence of guilt being a fact. I asked for the basis of that assumed "fact".

"Affirmative proof of guilt" lies at the far right extreme that finds "affirmative exoneration" at the far left extreme. Probably 98% of reality lies somewhere between those two poles.

Fair enough. I’ve always took it as overturning a conviction.

Exactly what evidence have you seen that has shown he is guilty of something? More specifically, what charge do you see evidence for?

What are you even talking about? Did you even read my post? I never said anything remotely close to accusing him of ANY wrongdoing. That's because I don't believe he did anything wrong. Never said that at all. Good lord...

Yes I did.
You asked for what the claim of "being cleared" was based on, and I pointed out a person has to have, at the very least, the claim of a specific crime in order to be "cleared" of the crime.
A basis for being "cleared" of a crime is simply the default position that every person has. It's called the presumption of innocence.
What don't you understand about the basic right?
