It's mostly internet. In my real life encounters with deplorables I'm able to ignore their uninformed opinions and remain civil.

I work with a few closet Trumpers, we all know they voted for Trump and no one treats them any differently than before.

If you turn off the TV and stay off the the internet the world hasn't changed much.

The only change I've seen in Nashville is the Mexicans that used to stand outside home depot looking for work are no longer there.

That horse shite talking point is 9 years old.

I can't fricking believe some a-hole would come here and post a 9 year old, horsehit, out of context talking point.

Pathetic.

What does it being 9 years old have to do with anything? The OP was about HISTORY of at least 45 or so years.....

The left is doing exactly what the right did when Obama was elected....the difference is that Obama was very popular when elected and he was even tolerated within his own party...no one but a pretty tightly defined voter was or is overly excited about Trump...most who voted for him did so because they didn't want to see Clinton in office...not because they relished the idea of Trump being in office.,,,

This is a steaming pile of bullshite.

Yes, many on the Right didn't like Obama before he was elected and actively fought against him. BUT the manner in which those attacks came pales in comparison to what is going on now. You had FoxNews and conservative talk radio, and that was it. He had the Congress for the first two years of his Presidency with lock-step adherence. The MSM spent almost his entire 8 years in office wiping his jizz of their collective chins. Also, I don't recall anti-Obama riots and civil unrest with destruction of property.

Political sabotage?
The entire gop leadership met on day 1 of obama and resolved to oppose everything.

Trump is inviting attacks with his "best people" including gov perry for energy, bannon on NSA, tweets about his daughters clothing line, never released tax returns, and some of the eos. Flynn's lies to his own team is just icing on the cake.
For month #1, its right at my projected level of troubles.

I still have first September congressional session for first bill of impeachment to be taken seriously. I wont count early partisan bills of impeachment that are tabled. I am looking for one that ryan lets get a vote in committee.

Wilson wasn't wrong. Obama was lying.

None of you stupid frickers want to get the point. The point wasn't whether or not Wilson was right, the point was the unprecedented affront of screaming at the President in the middle of a speech to a joint session of congress.

Exactly, having a senator scream at the President in the middle of the speech to a joint session of congress was out of bounds. Calling him a liar was injurious - whether or not he is or isn't is besides the point, that was not the venue for such an attack when the speaker couldn't defend himself. Not to mention the rules of conduct for senators don't generally allow for attacking each other (see Elizabeth Warren), you'd think they would extend the same decorum in a joint session.

What's being done is political sabotage

You snowflakes are so sensitive when it's your guy, but calling out a man as not qualified to be president due to his alleged questionable citizenship status could also be considered political sabotage. Indeed it was said that Obama's presidency was invalid. I don't see how you can say that wasn't political sabotage.

Another logical fallacy

Calling out hypocrisy is not a logical fallacy.

You boys just have no objective perspective whatsoever.

You left out Obama's chastisement of the Supreme Court but proceed.

I didn't leave it out, that's besides the point that Republicans were doing it to Obama, and now they're having it done to them.

Try not to be so sensitive.

They all lie, even Joe Wilson. I'm sorry that you can't see the point that to scream that at the speaker during a joint session was both unprecedented and injurious.

...and cowardly, knowing that the president couldn't defend himself at that point in time.

That's my point. If you want to change the subject to illegal immigrants having access to the ACA, start a new thread.

Not only that angle, but many claim he only won because of voter fraud.

This type of shite happens to the president - more and more these days. It happened to the previous one, it's happening to the present one. Get over and quit crying about how erybody's being unfair to your president.

I am optimistic from what I have seen so far, even with the unprecedented attacks from left wing loons and the mainstream media, President Trump continues to get things done that he promised to do. He will continue to make progress, with the opposition kicking and screaming and being dragged along behind. The Trump train continues to roll down the track. MAGA

Our citizenry is going to suffer because they are stupid, and ill informed of history.
They are also ill informed of our form of government and why Our country became the richest and most free country in the history of mankind.

Even the so called "marginalized groups" in our society have a better life here than they do in almost anywhere in the world.

Because you use this example AD NAUSEUM as some type of example of how poorly BHO was treated.

Has Maxine Waters apologized to Trump for calling for his impeachment?Has the her party AND the MSM media condemned her?

Once again, not close to compare the 2.

No, I don't. I've used that example in this thread to show that Obama was treated similarly. It's people like you who have no perspective and can't see what's actually happening, you just want to feel put upon.

If you've got nausea, try some Pepto Bismol.

Why did Wilson apologize?

Because he did exactly what people are crying about in this thread happening to Trump. THAT IS MY frickING POINT YOU SIMPLE GODDAMNED IDIOT.

Obama was treated similarly to how Trump is now.

Get the frick over it already, Obama has. Why is your Fearless Leader so damned thin-skinned about everything?
