then trump loses reelection.

What would that do regarding is "legacy"? Would it make it better considering historians tend to jduge favorably the presidents who expand government programs, or would it make him even worse image wise because it wouldn't move any liberals but would make conservatives angry?

Trump has gone on record as for being for single payer and just said it again less than a week ago.

Single payer is coming and trumpkins will admit its the best.

The very best.

Legacy?

His campaign was the stuff of Legend.

At this rate his Presidency is not a legacy I would want to look back on.

Single payer will never happen here, maybe a 2 tier approach with a private market, but people don't know Americans if they think there will be a pure single payer system here...

God I hope. The tiered system is far better than a single payer.

Unless he royally screws up, his legacy will forever be beating Clinton.

We are already there home slice

quote:

Based on "Health at a Glance 2015" from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), 24/7 Wall St. reviewed annual per capita health care expenditures in countries around the world. The United States spends about $8,713 per person on health care annually, by far the most of any country in the world. By contrast, many countries, including Turkey and India, spend less than $1,000 on health care per person annually.

quote:

All of the 10 countries on the list spend at least 8.9% of their total GDP on health care. The difference, however, between the No. 1 spender, the United States, and the No. 10 spender, Canada, is quite large. Canada spent 10.2% of its GDP on health care in 2013, which amounted to $4,351 per person, while the United States spent 16.4% of its GDP that year, amounting to $8,713 per person.

House COULD swing to the Democrats in 2018 even with massive gerrymandering done after 2010. It is possible but only 50-50 at best.

The Senate will not be taken by the Dems in 2018. The best case scenario for Dems in 2018 in the Senate is to take the Nevada seat and hold all the Dems some of whom are in shakey positions politically. That would still leave Repubs in control 51-49.
