I meant this a little more broadly. e.g. Tucker isn't relying on Hunter for the interesting part (he says people connected to Israel personally approached him pushing the child-abuse material). Discovery could at least theoretically establish who they were, what they gave him, whether they contacted Rudy/Bannon/others, & whether that material actually existed on the Mac Isaac drive. After 6 years of drama re: “the laptop”, we might learn some on whether what we were told was on the laptop actually came from the laptop.

Yeah, I think that's right, and that makes Tucker's story interesting. If that stuff wasn't actually on the laptop then who were the people who approached him claiming that it was? and where did their material come from, did they approach anyone else involved in pushing the laptop story, etc.?
