How's it looking for LA going to Phase III?

thanks

Hospitalization numbers are still low and going down so that's really good. Total positive cases are going up though. I'm pretty worried we see another huge spike soon, but as long as the hospital numbers don't go up, hopefully we can keep things running and opening up.

Data is all fricked up.
There will be no phase III
I am sympathetic that they are trying to build the airplane while flying it, but their data has been jacked for awhile (backlogged cases) and now the numbers are with duplicates removed...but they didn't fix the old data so you can't figure out any kind of trend.
It's a serious problem.

Yesterday, my office announced one person has tested positive. Because of this, we can't go into the office for two weeks. We had been phasing people in by shifts so there's never more than 50% of employees there at once. Now we're back to 100% working at home which can be a pain vs being in the office. I also have a very at risk mother. So yeah, I'm a little concerned.

Then take the precautions you feel necessary to protect your mother and quit endorsing tyranny.

When did I endorse anything? I flat out said I hope we can keep things opening up. I want to be back at the office. And I've told my family to stay away from her and told her to stay away from other people as much as possible, but not everyone listens.

They don’t listen because they reject your tyranny.

My mother is a 72 year old cancer survivor. She is very much in the "risk" category. She FULLY understands that and I have offered to take care of her errands such as going to the grocery store for her so she doesn't have to go out in public. She refuses to accept my offer. Which is fine...because she is a goddamn adult. She can make her own decision and risk assessments. It's not my job to tell her what she can and cannot do.
We used to live in a world where people could make their own daily risk management assessments. Now we need the government to tell us what we can and cannot do.
