I also don't see governments chasing away investment and revenue as "working as intended."
I think you need a higher bar for our governments. Accepting crappy laws because it is not your state is myopic. These laws that ruin prosperity need to be snuffed out wherever they arise.

How am I, a LA domiciliary, going to "snuff out" a law I don't like in a state where I am not a domiciliary like CA/WA? Support federal overreach to inhibit states from trying new policies (that may not work our or that I may not agree with)?
