Imagine an America that was not terminally douchey, not neurotically typing the phrase “ racistsexisthomophobe “ on Twitter, not dumbed- down beyond all recognition, not demanding that all thought and speech crime perpetrators be severely punished, not hypnotized by Progressive Identity Politics, not held hostage by Idologically-possessed media talking heads , Not overwhelmed with sociopathic Finger-pointers, and not with an absolute appetite to destroy anybody it disagrees with. Imagine all that. Just a normal country where rational people lived their lives normally and good faith gestures of forgiveness and benefit of the doubt prevailed.

Yeah, nevermind. That could never happen.

Right? Imagine a country that didn't elect douchebags and former douchebags to represent them

Virginia doesn't need that dude, and Florida doesn't need the dumbass that quit last week

I don't care how they played dress up, but they are expendable

They aren't necessary, frick em

I always try to give things like this benefit of the doubt. You get zero context with a picture like this or even a quote some news org throws up like Trump's "Mexico is only sending rapists".

That being said, this is at BEST something done in extremely poor taste. It isn't like this was back in the 1800s when minstrel shows were common and shite.

In a normal world this silly shite would be laughed off.

But the PC crowd has set the rules here and we all have to live with them.

This is pretty much where I'm at with it. A politician is elected because of what they're saying or doing now. Not because of whatever dumb shite they did 40 years ago.

I didn't care that Obama did coke, Bush got a DWI, or Clinton "didn't inhale". Everyone has dirt.

We wouldn't care bc the actions of one don't affect all others.

I don't care that he was in black face or a hood. Just like I didnt care that BK talked about farts.

Are you turning same person you were 5, 10, 15, 20 years ago?

That said, it's funny as hell he's getting eaten by his own. Maybe this will relay to people that Dems don't care about the people, the country, or even each other.

Jazz Funeral themed parties with blackface were common in South Louisiana in 1984. I don’t think those participating saw themselves as racist , I think they thought it was comedy and a good drunk.

Personally if I can’t look a guy in the eye without a twinge of shame I’m not going to do a caricature of his race. I would guess this was ironic comedy in that healthy America 1980s style where everybody was fair game, IF done with a smile.

Right, but the left has weaponized political correctness, and that forces the right to do the same.

Like in war, if you don't keep up with the weaponry your enemy develops, you will lose.

With social media nobody will not have dirt on themselves in 2-3 presidential terms. The opposition will have a platform to disqualify anyone. It will be what’s tolerated and what is not. Double standards, hipocrisy, spin will prevail.

This is the son of a bitch with the truck ad calling all of his opponent’s supporters racist.

He has been a racial panderer and scumbag for decades.

He can die in a fire

A healthy society would ensure he be kept comfortable while a discussion ensues.
