It's not a supply and demand problem like you described. Elite football talent is a scarce commodity and is pretty inelastic. NIL would not drop for those key game changing individuals. If you look at an NFL roster 80-85% of the cap is tied to perhaps 10 of 53 players. In smart college programs, same should occur regarding NIL. Btw, LSU's BB coach learned this lesson the hard way at NC ST...moving forward he's vowed to pay the majority of NIL to the 7 or 8 prime contributors vice leveling funds throughout the entire roster.
