The KSA are acting like crazy people. There is no way they can walk back anything, The only way Canada loses is if they back down. I'm amazed that anyone is supporting the KSA.

Trump likes sword fighting with the Saudis so his fans now support them over Canada who has the courage to criticize them.

It's OK to Look at Canada for what they are...
Bitches...they are bitches, have been bitches and have lived off OUR taxes for generations...
They use our medical care for dire shite...

It's ok to look at SA for what they are, wahabiist fricktards living an authoritarian society that does backward arse shite. They live off our capitalism and have too many wealthy fricktards intervening in our shite.

No one is supporting KSA - they look insane for doing this.

The entire world is watching Canada look weak, ineffectual, and incompetent for not knowing how to deal with it.

Trump has shaken the international order to its core and basically put the Western world on notice, that they need to show some spine in foreign disputes or else get run over. So I guess it comes down to 1 of 2 options:

1. Is it dangerous for Trump to have pulled the curtain back on weak leaders like Troudeau or

2. Is it more dangerous for weak leaders to cloak themselves in the protection of the US military and enrich themselves in the US economy while demanding that we handle their business for them?

Only if they back down. Sweden criticized the KSA in 2015 similarly, and were forced to walk back their criticism. If the Canadians walk back their criticism, then yes, they will look weak. If they continue to walk their own line, then they won't.

The Canadians, to my knowledge, have only asked for the US/UK to be intermediaries. They've also become more entrenched in their original position.

else get run over.

The KSA won't run over anyone without massive US support. MBS has made an authoritarian system even more authoritarian, and they have no room to walk back anything. The only countries that have come out supporting the KSA are Russia, Algeria, and if I recall, Pakistan. And it's odd that people say that this is an issue of sovereignty while also ignoring the massive amount of influence the Saudi lobby has in the US. The issues of sovereignty only work one way, seemingly.

At least Canada isn't afraid to criticize the Saudis.

A perfect example of virtue signaling while they hide behind their irrelevance and America’s skirts!

It will accomplish nothing just like:

To which the criticized party said, “#goFyourselfbitch”, exactly what the Saudis told Trudeau!

I come not to defend Saudi Arabia, but to laugh at Trudeau and his band of Canadian Cucks!

Trump cultists?

Is that anything like cheering while the president uses his pen and phone to dictate unconstitutional policy, because it could not be achieved legislatively?

Or how about applauding as the president uses the IRS to destroy political opposition, and then uses the DOJ to prevent the criminal perpetrators from being punished?

Or how about enjoying the president using the FBI and the DOJ to illegally spy on a presidential candidate, using phony documents supplied by the DNC and paid for by another presidential candidate.

Or how about applauding as the president covers up for a SOS who blatantly disregards security protocols, again using the DOJ and the FBI to prevent prosecution of obvious crimes committed?

frick off with your Trump cultist bullshite. I could go on for a week displaying what slavish drones folks on your side are. The hypocrisy is incredible, and sad.

I mean, a win for Canada is already out of the question. They already sent students back to KSA and medical patients to the US. How do you go back on that? They won't get KSA to apologize and they can't send the offending ambassador back to his post.

If a country had tried this on Trump, he would (for better or worse) blast them on Twitter, go on Fox and Friends to have a big laugh and tell them to kiss his arse, have a carrier group on their shore in 2 days, and a half dozen of their closest trade partners lining up sanctions within a week. Putin, Merkel, and others would be similar though less...ostentatious. Regardless, a leader in a position of power always dictates the conversation in a dispute. Canada isn't dictating jack shite right now.

This is also a loss to the KSA. It's hard to label that a win for anyone. And Canada loses a bunch of Wahabi shitheads, and still gets KSA oil. Canada is still selling KSA arms. The actual Saudis involved get fricked though.

Why would they need to? The KSA isn't a major trade partner, and isn't a major ally. The last state visit between the two countries was 15 or so years ago (I think).

The only reason the KSA feels they can do this is because of MBS's relationship with Trump. MBS has ruined everything he's touched so far, Yemen, Qatar, Lebanon, and now this. Yet somehow the KSA is coming out ahead.

Saudis: Do this.
Canada: No.
Saudis: You're going to do it.
Canada: Well, okay. But it looks really bad that you're asking us to do that! We feel really bad about this!

And you're claiming that as a win for Canada?

I have no idea what this is supposed to illustrate.

Any one claiming this is a win for the KSA doesn't know anything about the ME.

Like I said, as long as Canada doesn't apologize and walk back its criticism, then for me, Canada wins.
