How to properly triple down....Dick's Sporting Goods related

for a sporting good store, this is like Taco bell saying they dont want people who like tacos to buy their food.

Cutting off one's nose to spite its face. What a dick.

I'd like to know what percent of Dick's income is from firearm sales. Seems they are more interested in making political statements if it's not affecting their pocketbook anyway. I never even knew Dick's sold firearms until it came up in the news about the AR business, nor would I have gone to a box store like that to look for firearms.

So what do their financial statements say about this?

It's been several months since they started all this, have they been financially impacted due to it? We are all assuming, but there are numbers to prove this one way or another, so have we seen them yet?

I’d guess that most of Dick’s business comes from team sports and a bunch of townie libs who buy Nike running gear for their half marathons.

I bet their hunting/outdoor business was comparatively small.

Has the gun control lobby EVER stopped at anything? No they want total gun control

And it’ll draw in the virtue signalers from the other side.

I for one will not shop there again....for anything.

Given the breakdown in incomes of lefty SJWs, my guess is that their potential market will either be so poor they can’t buy much or so rich they shop at higher end retailers.


They can continue to be as stupid as they want. It just guarantees that I’ll shop at Academy or elsewhere for any sporting goods.

if you arent looking for anything special it is hard to beat a box store price. I get most of my none special items from Academy on big promotional deal weekends.

This isnt about how much money they make on firearms. But the people who spend big money on sporting equipment are most likely pro gun.....So hearing all this they are going to lose their main customers.
