Pre-Covid. What are your thoughts on Trump’s economy, tax policy, and foreign policy?

I was happy with those, I wasn't happy with spending, his appointments suck and he's a populist on gun rights, just to offer a few counters. I have no idea what that populism could lead to and neither does anybody else because that's the nature of populism. It's what drove his covid response.

But even ignoring covid he wasn't all in the positive column.

Agree 100%. But he did do pretty well for 3 years. His tax policy alone should make most happy. Unless y’all don’t like tax cuts and record high receipts.

Sure. And a lot of people who think they’re “on the right,” aren’t. That’s kinda the theme of the Trumpfags. They just don’t like it when it’s applied to them in the same fashion they try to apply it to others.

Florida Governor Orders Statewide Lockdown

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Friday calling for strict closures of beaches and businesses in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

How does someone who pretends to live in Florida not know there are beaches in the state?

Following recommendations from local officials and the CDC, DeSantis closed beaches in Broward and Palm Beach County for 11 days. At the time, he called Southeast Florida the "epicenter of what we're fighting in Florida."

You’re whining about 11 days. Trump let Covid-policy-creep linger on his entire Presidency and didn’t do shite to stop OSHA, HHS and Dept of Ed and their ham-handed policies.

Tell us more about two county’s beach closures for less than two weeks.

He also recently said that he would revoke student's visas for speaking up for Hamas. Regardless how you feel about Hamas, that's clearly an attack on the first amendment. Students have the right to be morons and suffer the consequences, but only in the court of public opinion, not in the realm of action via the government. Dude is a totalitarian and shown such action over and over and over again. Trump gave him enough rope to hang him during covid.

Of course it counts. It was all ridiculous

But you act like Ron wouldnt have done the exact same
And we have proof he did what Fauci told him to do

So its a wash and dumb for both of them to bring it up

Every time. Stay in California, Soros.

It's also noted that you continue to go after Meatball with leftist headlines.

Eh. There’s no point in handing out visas or continuing the visas of terrorist supporters. I’m not sure if you’re referencing DeSantis or Trump, but I’m fine with the policy coming from either.

Not with regards to citizens. But certainly with regards to people on visas. They want to support terrorism, frick em.

Only Trump was responsible for the NIH/CDC. Not DeSantis.

Well, it’s certainly on me to not have been more specific about what I meant by “the right.” When I use that term I mean those who “natural” inclination is to vote Republican, just as a general matter - whether they be registered Republican or Independent or whatever. That’s what I mean when I personally say the right.

I believe that’s a broad enough working definition that doesn’t get into the presumptive and pretentious practice of attempting to dictate to others whether they’re a “Republican” or a “Conservative” etc etc based on my own personal definitions.

Silly. A once in a generation pandemic was unleashed on him. He didn’t handle it well. I’ll give you that. But he did very well the first 3 years. Do you deny that?

Yep DeSantis just followed their recommendations. DeSantis handled Covid better than anyone. No question. You think another worldwide pandemic is coming? How did you like trumps economy prior to covid?

I deny the pandemic as an excuse. And it's not that Trump didn't handle it well, it's that Trump was absolutely steamrolled by the Left and consequently gifted country-changing power and wealth to the Left.
