Not with Covid and other health issues? I’m going back and forth with a lib who’s insisting that total number of from Covid and with Covid is almost 400k people. He’s also saying Covid is the leading cause of death in 2020 and you have greater odds of dying from Covid than in an auto accident.

Can anyone clarify?

Well there was that article giving a figure of 6%. So 180,000 deaths times .06 = 10,800.

Probably a lot less after you take away the car accident victims, etc.

Covid causes other health complications which a person dies from. Much like aids. It compromises the immune system and you die from other illnesses. you guys are retarded

So all the people who had diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease that died from Covid got those diseases as a result of Covid?

10k or so directly from Covid.

What I want to know is how many of the 180k or so outside of the 10k would have died anyway? How do we know they didn’t actually die of heart disease, pneumonia, cancer, flu, diabetes complications, etc?

They could have just stolen numbers from other causes of death for all we know.

Just to be clear, you think everyone who caught Covid and died from it, but also had other diseases, got those diseases as a result of Covid?

I’m not the dumb one here

Quite the contrary. You’re trying to attribute those diseases to Covid when those people already had those diseases.

And all these people that are wearing masks will say, it worked, I didn’t die.

Meanwhile, the rest of us who didn’t wear masks can say, it was a HOAX!

Nah, it's right around 200k.

Nah, still heart disease and cancer with a strong lead.

I believe there's a metric called 'excess deaths' which takes
the number of expected deaths per year from seasonal flu, diabetes, coronary diseases, etc and compares then to this year for covid related deaths. Takeaway is that there are excessive deaths, but the numbers aren't nearly alarming enough to justify a 'pandemic'.

about tree fiddy....

Now that is out of the way, I don't think we will ever know the number. If I had to bet the farm, my money would be on that it is wayy lower than what the numbers that are being posted.
