How many of you apologists for the continuation of America’s massive military Empire….

….have masturbatory fantasies of a bitter, prolonged war in Eastern Europe and are genuinely titillated by the prospect of a nuclear confrontation with Russia? Be honest.

Neoconservatism is the true faith of these people. Their Gods are the state and our military. These people have a religious-like faith that our government and military will make the world a better place. It's a useful ideology for morons, because it appeals to their base emotions of good versus evil.

Okay...
What in the hell is wrong with a massive military empire? Do you not realize that since the Spanish-American War of 1898, we have been a "massive military empire"?
It was at the turn of the century that we started laying our dick on the table and bossing people around in this hemisphere. We just didn't get involved in affairs outside of Central and South America until 1917 when we declared war on the Central Powers of Europe. That changed in the post-World War II era as Great Britain handed the reins over to us. Since 1946 we have been the leading force of democracy and freedom. That requires a military empire. Have we been perfect? Definitely not. We are humans and humans are greedy and do bad things. But we are among the most benevolent empires this world has ever seen.

9.8 people out of 10 (for sure including me and no doubt you as well) here and OT discussing the matter don’t actually have any real idea what they’re talking about, so at the end of the day none of this means squat. And that’s no insult, it’s just true. Again, myself included.

Because the Federal Reserve, an income tax and a fiat currency are all necessary to maintain said empire. And you cannot have a constitutional republic with those in place.

Lol you’re no different. Just because I think Russia is doing something very wrong and think the US should help Ukraine in this conflict, doesn’t mean that I’m a liberal, warmongerer, SJW, covidian, etc. Theres no arguing with people as stubborn as you. You live in an unrealistic bubble.

The United States has almost 800 military bases, all over the world in about 80 different countries.
By comparison. China has 4 overseas bases.
