Get the frick out of here. The only reason it was even close is because Trump was the nominee.

Yeah. I said that.

You talk about revisionist history. The MSM and the Repube establishment were predicting Hillary would win in a landslide if Trump won the Repube nomination.

Trump beat out the rest of the Repube field because he wasn’t a career Washington politico. Same as Romney & Obama in 2012, Kasich and Hillary are on the same team — team Deep State.

I don't think so, Bob was always right... one of the best posters.

By comparison. China has 4 overseas bases.

Damn! Good point. (I'm still gonna give you shite over in the meme thread in the OT though.)

You bring something to mind that history teaches nations over and over again... No nations rises to power or sustains its power primarily through military might. A strong economy is the secret to being a world power. A nation with a strong military and a weak economy will devour itself. A nation with a strong economy can build its military whenever it so desires.

Yeah, and they were wrong. I don't know why you think that helps your point. frick, if anything, he made it a hell of a lot closer than it should have been.

The dude gave us Biden and was like 12k votes away from giving us Hillary.

If you think I was a Kasich supporter you definitely have me confused with another poster.

That certainly is open to interpretation!

Bob and I locked horns over his unwavering support of the ruling GOP establishment many times. I liked him though , he was genuinely nice guy.

Bob had some great insight on the inner workings of goat-hill — I think he was political lobbyist or involved in state government in someway..

I’ll check it out. I miss the old toomer’s. With the new corporate ownership, I would be very surprised it would be allowed back as it was.

The Deep State gave us Biden.

Do you genuinely believe the dementia ward escapee received 80 gazillion votes?

Holy Sh*+! You are in deep!

Trump spent four years convincing over half the country that they should vote for someone else.

And you're all surprised that they did exactly that.

Damn it Beavis. He actually convinced, what, 13 million or so new voters to vote for him over and above his 2016 total.

Then why didn't he win? You another "deep state did it" nut?

Biden did not receive 80 million legitimate votes.

It. Did. Not. Happen.

Now, there is no doubt in my mind that Trump alienated many Republican voters.

Yet he also attracted many more voters who normally would not vote Republican.

Trump indeed received more votes in the 2020 election than any Republican Presidential candidate in history.

No, not a deep stater, but am a believer in the concept that they absolutely murdered the Constitutional blueprint explicitly giving state legislatures the exclusive authority to determine that state’s methods and procedures for ultimately producing its electoral votes. They had all sorts of other officials and entities revising and expanding the parameters “in the name of covid”. Secretaries of state, local voting commissions and authorities, and state high courts taking those actions of course because they had to go around Republican majority legislatures where the actions would have died off, and correctly so.

Do that whole package in precisely the right locations, and bam it can easily sway that locale and by extension the entire election. Yes, strong believer in this theory.

Well yeah it’s new when you add the “once in a century or more killer pandemic” that was the most important factor in the thing.

Correct. If the USA wanted to rule the world no one in the last 80 years could have stopped it from happening.

This beats repeating.

I'll put it this way. I don't want my grandsons (and granddaughters) dying in a war because our imbecile fraud President Joe Biden couldn't keep his fricking mouth shut. Apparently thousands of Russians feel the same way about Vlad Putin.

Oh and one more thing. It's the economy stupid.

So Trump didn't really lose to Biden? He lost to the pandemic?
