I’ve heard 11 or 12 million. I think it might be closer to 20 million, mainly concentrated in the sanctuary cities which are usually some of the biggest in the nation.

probably 25+ million
Unfortunately, that's probably on the low side.

So almost 25-to-1 ratio between illegals and our active duty military. Yikes.

I agree. When is Sessions gonna start rounding them up for deportation? Over a year and a half in office, Sessions hasn’t done shite.

That’s nearly 10% of the population

The U.S. population is around 328 million. It’s estimated that about 11 million — or one in 30 — are illegal immigrants. Yet criminal aliens account for more than one in five federal prison inmates.
There were more than 730,000 criminal aliens in U.S. or state prisons and local jails during the period measured. They accounted for 4.9 million arrests for 7.5 million offenses. (The numbers, according to the GAO: 197,000 criminal aliens in federal prisons, arrested 1.4 million times for 2 million offenses, between 2011 and 2016; 533,000 in state or local facilities between 2010 and 2015, representing 3.5 million arrests for 5.5 million offenses.)
The arrests include allegations of more than 1 million drug crimes, a half-million assaults, 133,800 sex offenses and 24,200 kidnappings. Even more serious, the imprisoned illegal immigrants, over a five-year period, had been arrested for 33,300 homicide-related offenses and 1,500 terrorism-related crimes.
In terms of cost, federal taxpayers shelled out more than $15 billion during the period studied — or $2.5 billion a year — to keep criminal aliens behind bars in federal, state and local facilities LINK

11.3M is the "government" census and Homeland Security numbers.
Which are complete and utter bullshite.
There's easily 25-30 million illegals just from illegal border crossings (Mexico, Cuba/Caribbean, Haiti, the Bahamas, and Canada), and then another 5-10 million illegals from Visa overstays (which the 11.3M DHS number never conveniently accounts for).
Between 1985-2015, ICE/USBP reported 31.4 million apprehensions of illegals just trying to cross the southern border. This doesn't even account for other borders or illegals boating in to shores of other states. This is just the southern border with Mexico. 31.4 million apprehensions in 30 years.
It has long been said by USBP that they only catch/apprehend approximately 1 in 4 illegals attempting to cross on good days, and 1 in 5+ on bad days.
So let's just low-ball this then and say it's 1 in 3. This would mean they caught 31.4M while 62.8M successfully made it in.
Between 1985-2015, ICE has deported approximately 38 million illegals caught inside our borders.
That leaves nearly 25 million illegals unaccounted for.
Now add the 5-10 million Visa overstays to this.
And then, think about how many children these 30-35 million people have had in those 30 years.
In addition, Obama's "deportation" numbers are skewed and bullshite because of his "catch and release" policy. They counted millions of people as "deportations" who were really just released to Sanctuary Cities with court dates they never showed up to.
The number is easily over 30 million. Probably closer to 40 million when you account for Visa overstays. And then there's probably 10-15 million "anchor-babies", but I guess those are technically "citizens".

I agree. Those are scary numbers.
