Looks really shy.

There are a lot of semantics that go on from both sides.
Many auto workers, even in the Detroit area, aren't represented by the UAW.
If you notice in the photo that you posted, the guy's sign doesn't have the UAW symbol on it.
There are many parts suppliers and such in the area that aren't affiliated with the UAW.
They are still auto workers, but not UAW members.
That's part of why, it's impossible to know the answer to the OP's question.

Soooo let’s put your “cult” claim to a bit of a litmus test. Would you say the Covid vaccine is a good measure of compliance in people? A good measuring stick? Who would you say are the vast majority of those who didn’t take the jab? I’d submit by a country mile it is Trump supporters. Trump spearheaded the vax and urged us to take them. Who didn’t go along with that and comply? Does this sound like a bunch of mindless cult sheeple?

I guarantee the majority of Trump supporters on this forum are the unvaccinated, I can also guarantee most of the DeSantis supporters and never Trumpers on this forum are vaccinated with the MRNA Juice or some other COVID19 junk jab ....they should love Trump and Project Warp Speed.

The reporter asked ten people with auto worker signs and only reported the two who were not auto workers.

Interesting observation by The Detroit News

What's interesting about it?

Were those the only 2 people TDN approached?
Were those the only 2 people holding signs?
Were all attendees required to be employees?
Were all attendees required to be Union members?

Non-union companies such as Drake Enterprises are directly affected by UAW strikes & the transition to EV's. Those are the observations that are of interest, not that BS article.

UAW President Shawn Fain said the losses inflicted on dealerships, suppliers, and consumers was on the Detroit automakers.

"That may be where part of their profit is, but the sad reality is their leaving our workers behind in this transition to EVs and then on top of that we're funding it," he said. "Our taxpayer dollars are funding this transition to the EV, so they're taking the profits generated by our members' work, they're leaving us out of the equation for the future work, and then on top of that, they're taking our tax dollars."

"A past report from the United Auto Workers acknowledged the shift to electric vehicles means replacing key powertrain components, such as engines, with mechanically simpler lithium-ion batteries and electric motors."

"Whereas traditional powertrains have often been made by automakers themselves and created quality union jobs, EV batteries are mostly made by suppliers in other countries, with China in the lead," the report said."

The Detroit News

One of the attendees for Trump's speech, Doug King, a 55-year-old auto worker from Clawson, said...

“The four years under Trump were the best years that we had in the auto industry," contended King, who works for Stellantis.

Trump's daddy was mobbed up. Trump is as well.

He is the most investigated person in the history of the United States. If there was any truth to this it would have come out.

These people are absolute morons. Name one politician in DC, other than Trump, who has seen their net worth go down after being elected.
