The faculty members who participated in the demonstration were the “most aggressive,” Daughtry said.

Don’t hear of any being fired.

we are doing a video compilation, and we’re gonna find you, we’re gonna arrest you for attempted assault. You’re gonna have the full weight of Police Commissioner Caban’s police department coming for you.”

Big talk..let’s see if there is a follow through..

quote:

A total of 120 people were taken into custody at the private university Monday — with 116 of them slapped with summonses for trespassing and four getting desk appearance tickets for charges that included resisting arrest.

None of the charges are of a level that will result in a criminal record.

Oh please don’t be so heavy handed Police Commisioner Caban!!! Mercy!!

I don't know what you expect.

It's not like these young scholars were singing hymns outside of an abortion clinic.

Big time, if Trump is even close to the Oval Office.

Nationwide protests are bad for the incumbent. I doubt these will get violent. More likely, they will just be used to justify more draconian laws.

Well how many of them are actually students? Did the ones arrested or soon will be have student ID's?

Will the violence primarily come from the students themselves or the paid outside agitators? I really don't know. If the Summer of Love taught us anything, it was to not trust what we see.

By the Jan 6th definition if you are breaking the law while protesting it is necessarily un-peaceful. Possibly even a riot. Maybe an insurrection.
