Will we have to wait until 2021 or will it happen sooner?

I expect a flurry of lawsuits within the first 2 years

Who knows, maybe we will get a better version out of this

No one's going to notice a difference.

So.

Never.

Trump wants to give the providers a chance and see if they end up screwing the consumers or not. If they do, like most of us think they will, them he will bring it up for Congress to act on it.

There will be a cabinet level department created and a Net Neut Czar (a minority will HAVE to be appointed).

An additional Net Neut Compliance Tax will be created.

Being Anti Net Neut will become a hate crime.

Fed Gov will grow.....AGAIN

It really depends on whether you believe that the Internet is and should be regulated as utility right now as many governments are classifying it and negotiating access as a service, not the sale as utilities.

It began being regulated as a utility and was trending that way until today, as such I think that the trump administration wants to see what the market bears, whether it will state it’s a utility or a service.

The internet is a utility in this day and age. It is your access to information.

Not saying it isn’t but that’s what’s behind all this at a foundational level

I think it's more that Republicans are in bed with large corporations and their vocal followers will believe whatever they hear.

If they can find a way to get net neutrality passed into law without going the Title 2 route, I'm for it.

ISP's about to go in dry i'm afraid. could be a big issue come election time in a few years. seems like a self inflicted wound for trump imo.

Mia Love 15 mins · A permanent solution to net neutrality needs to be decided by Congress. This game of regulatory ping pong should not be played with the internet. That is why I have been working and will continue to work with the Chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Greg Walden and his staff to find a legislative solution that will prevent blocking, throttling or unfair interconnection practices.

It’s cute that you think Trump cares about consumers. Other than the ones purchasing Trump branded merchandise.
