There absolutely are those women out there, the problem is that society as a whole as ingrained this "princess" attitude into every one of them regardless. They ALL think they deserve a man that treats them like a princess and is a man's man. One that brings everything to the table and performs in the set stereotype for men as a whole - he puts food on the table, a roof over their head, fixes the broke stuff, keeps the family organized, and is the "protector."

Because of this they are indeed looking for purely physical and financial qualities up front no matter how they look or feel about themselves. Society has taught them throughout their whole lives that women are powerful and should be put on this pedestal. Like I said, they are all "princesses."

I've never had a problem with women (I was in a rock band for 15 years, have always held down decent jobs, and am fairly good looking and in athletic shape - not even trying to brag), but I understand a lot of what these men see through my own experiences. I've had two long term relarionships end when the women completely bailed out at the first sign of a minor financial setback on my own part - relationships that were healthy leading up to that point. They thought they deserved more even though I had stuck with them through their OWN low points.

It's just the way of the world right now, and the modern feminism movement - as well as the way men are portrayed in media - has everything to do with it. There's still decent women out there (I'm engaged to one now), but I can easily see how a man that has rare opportunities with women may only run into the ones I've described above, as they seem to be the majority.
