I mean, it doesn’t really look good that he was getting down with porn stars while he has a wife and a child with her. Same goes for Bill.

Although, I don’t blame Bill as much as I do Trump. I’d probably fool around too if I was Bill and had to put up with Hillary’s craziness and ugliness all the time. That said, I’m never shocked to hear that a politician or celebrity is sleeping around, nor does it decide my voting for a candidate as much as some people.

And I don’t really care all that much, to be honest with you.

Yeah, I really want more of these people come out who believe that Trump’s lawyer was so loyal to Donald that he took out a home equity loan to pay off Donald’s hookers without Trump telling him to do so. And after we get a list of them, we should have a sticky post at the top of this board labeled “Idiots” with said list.

Honestly. It just smacks of a lot of people pretending to care because they think it's some gotcha from 1992 politics.

Meh.

My point is this is silly to get upset over. Your moral superiority and pearl clutching is noted.

No one really cares about the sex. The first lady is, with all due respect, a trophy wife living in an arrangement. And I specifically look down on adulterers as the scum they are, but it's small potatoes.

Don't act as though the focus on this is about the sex. There's a lot more to it. Hell in the end Clinton wasn't brought low by the sex, piece of shite husband that he was. And that was with a bunch of fake Christians (who no longer pretend to care) baying for blood. He committed crimes. Literal crimes. And that's what the president's team should be worried about now. If there were crimes.

I hope Cohen can keep his story up, but it seems awfully far fetched.

Here’s my response: frick you. If you think that Bill Clinton is an acceptable standard for the morality of our Commander in Chief, then we’re simply fricked as a country. You can not let Bill Clinton, a pathological liar, almost certainly a rapist, and a minor war criminal be the standard that is the passing bar as a President. It will continue to be lowered and lowered until we go from metaphorically throwing shite at each other to literally throwing shite at each other.

Excusing Trump saying that Clinton did it is simply a celebration of the moral decay in our society. I instead choose to hold up modern Presidents to the standards set by Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower, two fantastic Presidents both policy and morally speaking that were back to back. I refuse to accept the standard that a rapist has set, and go frick yourself for saying I should.

Why are we worried about Bill Clinton here? It's 2018

Well, as you pointed out, Clinton did a LOT more than just frick some chick on the side.

Here's where you run off the rails.

You have literally ZERO of knowing that's true. Were you their friends? Neighbors? Kids? Cause otherwise, all you know about public people is what comes out.

That's why running around acting like you seek out paragons of virtue in politics is silly.

You can know only 4 things for sure about a politician.

1. What they say they stand for.

2. What they do politically in terms of voting on issues.

3. How well the first one lines up with the second one.

4. How well the above 3 line up with what you want.

Everything else is bull shite projection hope and prayer and irrelevant to the task at hand.

Yeah, that’s not what I wrote. I called you a goober and, I know this will be hard for you to follow, it has nothing to do with Clinton.

Sounds the same as Bill and Monica.
The same?

Well for starters, Bill diddled a 20 year old WH intern while he was POTUS. It was sexual harassment at minimum according to the operating definition of workplace sexual harassment at the time.

Trump and Stormy Daniels, if it happened, took place 12 years ago while both were private citizens. No laws were broken. Both were consenting adults and private citizens. How is this the same?

Except that the payoff might have violated election law (might have been an unreported contribution in kind). I think the whole Stormy Daniels thing is a "nothingburger" as they like to say. Two adults, no alleged assault, and no other alleged violations.

No one's opinion about Trump will change. Trump could murder a person on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan and not lose any support. And this incident will merely confirm to Trump haters that he's a sleaze.

We have more important matters to consider. For example, you Lousiana folks might not want another Deepwater Horizon oil rig blow up and oil spill. Well, if regulations are reversed that very thing could happen.
