Explain to me, oh wise sage, what strategic value did we obtain from engaging in all of the recent unpleasantness?
It's far far too premature to say, definitively. As far as the ME outcome, we will have to see.

One thing for certain is we sent a not so subtle messaging to China, "We just cut through your defensive systems and weaponry like a hot knife through butter." Something for Xi to consider as he ponders his lack of oil, and rethinks plans for Taiwan. Rumor held that in their originally scheduled April meeting, Xi intended to inform Trump that China was going to invade Taiwan. The Iran-China relationship was a huge element of the rationale.

Yeah, we all saw Baghdad Bob's declaration of victory last night. You know, the same side that doesn't have an air force or navy anymore, those guys are the ones that declared victory, so clearly, anything they put out is legit.

How is it not a win? You don't know if it's a win or not because the conclusion hasn't played out yet. You're just TDS'ing. STFU.

Yeah. Definitely not moderate.

But everything is relative. Might be considered moderate in comparison to the new guy

One of the great misdirects has been that China really cares about Taiwan. China likes making you think they want to invade Taiwan.

Do I think China played a role? Probably went to the Pakistanis and basically said that all of this action is good for no one and since Pakistan has decent relations with the US and Iran is a neighbor, they probably affected a peace deal*. China probably promised some better military equipment to the Pakistanis....and discounted development loans . They are quietly the big winners by default. Cheap oil from the Iranians probably paid for in American dollars and underwrote by the United States Navy.

I probably mentioned this already.

The next dem president will have to take longer to rebuild Iran.

I wonder what that chimpish woman that works for him thinks.

Think about what you're intimating .... e.g., relative to the perspective of Israeli attack success.

We don't buy their oil so let it be their problem. Countries and companies would pay for definite security of their product.
