That isn't a very good answer.

Why? Why does it matter if Guiliani does personal business for Trump?

How many aides and staff does each congressperson have? You think everything they do isn't self-involved BS?

It doesn't. But Rudy was talking to the Ukraine and China governments.

Was he doing that for Trumps personal gain?

Personal gain? Like getting his son cash and s high paying job?

Because it seems that someone actually did that.

They are both private citizens.

I'm not trying to be obtuse.

I'm sure it's all perfectly legal. I'm just curious how a personal attorney is negotiating with a foreign government.

What is he negotiating? He is working on behalf of his client to get info pertinent to his client.

As a private citizen, if I had info concerning the misdeeds of a Government Official, do I have to be an official Government Employee to relay said info?

Is Misfud an "official" US or Italian Government employee? It seems the whole Russia Hoax was based on his conversation with Paps.

He is his personal attorney. He does not work for the United States.

I'm not making excuses for others. I honestly want to know the answer. So far, nobody has really given me a clear answer.

I looked at the Logan Act again. Looks like as long as you have any sort of permission from the US Govt and aren’t doing anything with the foreign government that intends to undermine the US, you’re ok.

What was Kerry doing and in what capacity and who was president?

Can you not see the differences?

Read this thread from last night and watch the videos of his interview with Ingraham. He explains the situation and its legalities.

Kerry was negotiating against the best interests of the country.

What I read just said permission from the US, directly or indirectly. So sounds like anyone on behalf on the US government who has authority to interact with foreign nations.

Understand your premise but RG is not negotiating a treaty or talking public policy. If Kerry was, bad for him. Rudy wasn't so good for him.
