How is "Mail in Voting" supposed to work?

at first glance it sounds like the Democrats aren't even trying to mask their propensity to have ineligible voters, dead voters, more votes than a county has, etc. vote in the election.
Are there any standards or rules or are they just wanting a sack of 800 letters to say "Biden" and expect to count them?

Delay the election results until Pelosi takes over the presidency. At least that's how the Democrats are looking at it.

It means the Postal Worker's Union gets to decide which ballots 'get lost'.

It’s a fricking pipe dream as states (Other than the ones that already do) are not set up for it.
The Dems are trying to pre-set the narrative in case there is low voter turn out that way they can continue their temper tantrum.

They mail out stacks of ballots. If you get yours, you fill it out and mail it back in. If you don't get yours, don't worry, someone else will helpfully fill it out for you and return it. If you do mail yours back in, it will be checked for errors and corrected before being submitted, saving you from the embarrassment of not having your vote counted or counted for the wrong candidate.

It will work like previous absentee voting.
The Dems will wait till after the election and find out how many votes behind they are in certain areas. Then they will find sacks of unopened votes, all Democrat votes, that will exceed the number needed and give them the victory.

I haven’t received a straight answer regarding nursing home voting
Because my Grandpa is elderly he got a letter about mail in voting that also had a part about nursing homes
It said someone from the state would go in & collect votes from residents
This makes me wonder how many of those residents actually vote & if there will be more fraud since family cannot go in & monitor the process

Our mailman or woman whatever, cant even put our mail in the box correctly 90% of the time. So, no, I dont trust the USPS to deliver my ballot, nor return the ballot.

States that do it admit the first year is a cluster. It takes years to get it right. If I can go to Lowe's and it's wall to wall people, I can stand in line to vote, or absentee since that's legit.

Is there any way trump can sign an EO that forbids mail in voting? Especially after the shite show of what’s happening in NY. sure it’s just wishful thinking

In Lexington, we opened up Commonwealth Stadium for people to vote. Not sure why most places cant find some large space that will allow booths to be set up for social distancing purposes, thus allowing people to vote in person. If mass mail-in voting happens, you know that the Dems are gonna steal the election.

Will each party be allowed to send a watcher with each postman to ensure that no shenanigans take place?

Over 30 million votes in the 2016 election were mail in votes. It kind of already works.

No, at least not one that's effective. It's a state law issue.

Yep

Was the framework for all that set up two months before the election then?

Going to be interesting to see people at the polls find out they already voted by "mail-in" weeks before the election. In turn, not getting to vote in-person.
