how hard would it be to assassinate Putin

we took our ISIS leaders with one drone strike. What would happen if we did the same to Putin? I'm not conspiring to assassinate another nation's President, Chicken, just genuinely curious.
Putin seems like a mad man, so instead of killing innocent russians by bombing their country, couldn't we just strategically blow up Putin?

A madman? The guy may be the sharpest and most calculating world leader out there. Don't have to like him, but he's not some unstable, geriatric fool like we have leading our country.
