No it isn't. Because he's White. He may be Hispanic as well, but that's not a race.

Hispanics are mixed White and Native, so why are they always classified as white instead of native? Especially when they look closer to native?

You say there's no conspiracy because it's been this way since the 90s. Why did they decide to stop accurately labeling hispanics in crime stats? There must be a reason for the change, and it isn't for more accurate reporting, so that leaves the obvious reason you don't want to acknowledge.

Some of you people are the dumbest motherfrickers that ever lived. Straight from the source, census.gov.

quote:

Hispanic refers to people with ancestry from Spain or other Spanish-speaking countries, representing over 64 million people in the U.S. (19% of the population). Often used interchangeably with Latino/a/x, this demographic includes diverse nationalities—primarily Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Central/South American—and is considered an ethnicity, not a race, meaning Hispanic people can be of any race.

The logic is as straightforward as it can get.

Race is race.
Ethnicity is ethnicity.
Hispanic is not a race.
Hispanic is an ethnicity.

Therefore, when listing someone by Race/Sex, they will be identified by ... Race ... and ... Sex.

Hispanic is not a race.
Hispanic is an ethnicity.
Hispanics can be white, black, asian, etc.

A White Hispanic listed by race will be listed as White because White is a race, Hispanic is an ethnicity and not a race, and they're being listed by race.

There are plenty of things to be pissed about. News reports listing what's on their arrest report (Race/Sex) isn't one of them.

There is often a very big difference between a white person and Hispanic person, and any stats should reflect that if they want to have credibility. Liberals use this very flaw to progress their insane agenda, and they lack credibility because of that. Anyone defending this nonsense lacks credibility.

The OP is rage bait about an arrest report listing someone by their race/sex. His race is White and his ethnicity is Hispanic, but you idiots don't know the difference between the two as evidenced by the above statement.

As for these "statistics" you keep talking about,

statistics about race reflect race, not ethnicity
statistics about ethnicity reflect ethnicity, not height
statistics about height reflect height, not age
statistics about age reflect age, not income
statistics about income reflect income, not intelligence
statistics about intelligence reflect you...waaaaay over in the left tail, 3 standard deviations to the left of the Mean.

Race and ethnicity are like sex and gender. We use them synonymously

I’ve tried to tell you clowns a million times that in law enforcement classification/records/reporting, there is Race and Ethnicity.

And the indigenous people of the Americas should be their own race. They were here on these landmasses thousands of years, ten thousand years before Columbus sailed the ocean blue. And many of the people in the Americas are descendants of those people. There is a difference.

and that is misleading, purposely

Are you really stupid enough to believe that it wouldn't change if it adversely inflated the numbers for blacks?

Go frick yourself.

Hmmmmm....

quote:

(BJS) have long included "Hispanic origin" in surveys, the FBI officially added "Hispanic or Latino" to its Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program for arrests around 2013 to better track the growing population

Yet most local law enforcement do not include it. All this arguing about race and ethnicity is quite ignorant. The whole point is to identify someone, but all that went out the window with the "Coulter Rule".
