Whoa bro! Chill out!

I know it’s impossible.

So what’s the end game?

You do understand that the test is just a snapshot in time, it doesn’t prevent you from getting it? Smarter thing is to avoid getting it.

This ends for sure when the estimated infection rate without social distancing is low enough for to not overwhelm the healthcare system.

This SHOULD end when the estimated number of deaths without social distancing is palitable enough as compared to social distancing. I doubt we have a government capable of making that tough decision...even at the expense of destroying the economy.

Nope not at all, but I do want to sit and eat at Superior again before May.

I'm simply trying to get a feel for what the long term plan is.

So, we are not going to test everyone. I understand how that is not possible and wouldn't do much good.

I guess we are all going to sit here in limbo until Dr CDC feels like the threat of overloading hospitals is gone.

How do we know when that is? We can't sit like this much longer.

The same way it ends if we do test everyone.

Next question Peter?

Yes, we do.... although there are still some variables.

The current action will mean squat, eventually the cases will go down... restriction releases... cases will go back up.

What they are doing is destroying an economy on a strategy that will never work.

LINK

The current strategy serves two purposes... 1.) destroy the economy 2.) long term, more people will die

Let me know when they start testing all Americans for the flu and how that will "cure/stop" the flu.

Probably like the flu does. Of course a different strain comes back around in about six months. Will be interesting to see if this particular virus circles back later in the year.

Already appear to be going up in Hong Kong. A complete waste of time what they are doing. If these nutjobs were right... the flu wouldn't exist in the future either it has a lower transmission rate.

This won't work.... the vast majority of people are going to get this in the next 1-2 years.

you test negative today you would need to test again tomorrow....

the test everyone crowd would need testing of 330,000,000 people every day..... logistically impossible
