It stupefying how often Prog/Dim loons routinely display their inability to accurately illustrate/depict a counterpoint, and they do it without shame or embarrassment.

There was an article out on a black preacher the other day that said they all stayed home but are organizing at Obama's order to GOTV. It was Chicago so whoopie flip...

But it is surreal how many black churches are controlled by Rev Wright political radicals.

How about covering up a massive pedophilia subculture for decades? Different church, same question.

Churches being tax havens has been one of the most abused systems in this country for years and it has allowed them to prey on the public. All churches should be taxed.

Absolutely correct! The tax avoidance scams they run are absolutely criminal. You have Church's owning shopping malls, office buildings, restaurants, retail establishments, etc. and all are tax free because they are exempt. The ordinary American citizen's taxes would go down significantly if they taxed these institutions.

Churches should not be tax exempt at all, imo.

They no longer relieve any burden that the poor place on society, so there is no reason for them to have it.

Right. This board spies a pedophilia cult around nearly every corner. But when we have an actual one - and basically flaunting it at this point - it's laughable that we would not at least revisit the question of the tax exempt status?

Carry on with the insanity.

So I will put you down as one of the dumb fricks that want that big pedo organization known as the Catholic Church pouring millions of dollars directly into elections.

You think you will get billions per year?

Don't care about money in politics even slightly. Have the pedos start paying those property taxes.

No. And nowhere did I say that.

Also, I would postulate that the Catholic Church already funnels money into elections from the Vatican. Who can prove that churches don't put money into politics.

John 1:9-13 9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. I mean, that's certainly not ALL there is to it. One must also repent and live by faith. And by "asking Jesus into your heart", you are really asking Him to take control of your life and be the Lord of your life. It's not just "Welp, I asked Jesus into my heart. Now I'm covered."

None of the above mentions a heart or asking Jesus in.

I realize your false doctrine has twisted the meaning of the above to that.

The receiving part is best described by the context in the same sentence referring to believing.

Furthermore giving someone the right to become children of God is not the same as becoming children of God.

One can believe something is true, and not act on it.
One can have a right granted to them and never exercise it.

Very true. Even Satan and the demons believe.

So... how does one become saved?

Also... we be off topic a tad.
