This discussion contains some of the most ridiculous bullshite I have ever heard on this site.
The question is framed to state that moving a 45-55% voting state to 9-91% is restoring "fairness".
How stupid do some of you have to be?
That is exactly why the Republicans lose more than they should.
"Fairness" means "democrats win".
and to the dumbass saying it is "in response to Texas", if California's representation was split like the vote was, the GOP would have TWELVE more seats and the Congress would be like it was after 1994
The split in CA is 42 - 9. Does that sound "fair"?
It is one thing to argue for the sake of arguing but to bend over backwards to deny the obvious makes you a whipped dog.

From a democrat's point of view, that is fairness. 0-100% would be the most fair. Fair is making sure no republican ever holds office again.

Why is this question not already being challenged in court?

The word "fairness" has no place on an election ballot. It's a completely subjective word.
And in no sane world is it fair for them to change the breakdown the way they are planning to do it.

Can anyone name one blue state where the lines are evenly divided?

I don't think that the Dems are going to lose on this one. IMHO, the "Yes" votes will win it.
Dems have spent $60 million dollars to get this passed. They want it badly, because if they win on this one, they probably have the Mid Terms Win locked up.

It also means Virginia permanently goes from a purple state to a solid blue one.

If anyone ever thought Indefatigable is an honest person, just re-read this quoted text.
