Yeah.... someone just posted something today. My neighborhood group had a cute little reminder that fireworks are illegal here in the city of Vacaville, CA.
Message said HOA has been spoken to and people are on the lookout... anyone shooting fireworks will be reported to the police as well as the HOA.
I've been in the military 10 years, all 10 of those years i've been in state that outlaw fireworks. Not a whole lot of Murica... here in Murica

I think they love as it provides audio coverage of their gunfire. Of course they are generally killing each other but that's probably better for the rest of us anyway.

Meh. It's better if you leave that stuff to professionals. Too many dumbasses out there setting off fireworks when they don't know what they're doing.
ETA: Maybe compromise. You need a license to shoot off fireworks, and a license will be issued only to people with a triple digit IQ.

Well I'm pretty liberal and love the 4th of July. Great time to celebrate the formation of the greatest nation in the world.
Singing stupid patriotic songs in church though?!? One of the few reasons young people keep leaving the church in droves: God Bless America doesn't belong in a church on Sunday morning... ever.

I'm no SJW but frick people who are letting off fireworks in a residential neighborhood at 2 a.m. I have a three year old and a dog who is terrified of fireworks. If you want to see them, go to an organized event or let them off in the middle of nowhere.

The people in my neighborhood that bitch and moan every year about kids shooting fireworks are the same ones that bitch and moan about kids playing video games all day and not going outside enough. Can't have it both ways ya limp dick geezers.
