I love Ron. Voted for Trump in every election.

I thought Ron was an A+ option this last cycle if Trump was unable to run.

I think Ron is an A+ option moving forward. He and Vance are great guys to have in the wings following Trump. We are extremely fortunate to have two very viable candidates and it will be a battle between them for the next nomination.

Keep the leftist loons away from killing them and we are in a good shape moving forward with tough, capable leadership.

You are descending. I am retired and can read stuff all day if I want. I'll bet you work and do so half-assedly.

Plus voters want to be entertained now - American Idol voters. Ron’s not that guy.

Perhaps it was Ron calling people listless vessels. Trump never said to not like Ron but even if he did it would be appropriate as Ron was Trumps opponent.

Again I’d like to make note how Zion Ron is okay but anyone who supports the Jews are bad.

He dared run against god. That's a capital offense in MAGA world.

Think we all need to understand that whoever runs in 28 won't have the charisma and people skills that Trump possesses. It'll need to be a different kind of candidate and campaign.

Rubio has his own style that works, but it's a 180 compared to Trump.

JD and DeSantis are smart, incredibly effective leaders, but they could both use some help in the charisma department when it comes to swing voters.

Oh my god people don’t like a candidate just like you don’t like Trump! The outrage!

This is it in a nutshell.

I'm hoping for a Vance/DeSantis ticket with Rubio continuing to crush it as SOS.

Rubio won't do that. He wants a promotion.

He's the greatest governor Florida ever had. He's suited to that role, and is the most effective on a nationwide scale in that role. He sets the example for all other states to follow. As President, his importance would increase, but his effectiveness would very much diminish.

It was a wasted effort on his part backed by Bushies & Lincoln Project pdf files. Focusing on doing good things in Florida should have been his priority.

I think he knows that now.

It was just that a) he was not ready and prepared for that grind and b) he was just way out of his element and unfortunately style and charisma is a big part of winning a Presidential campaign.

correct....very very much reminded me of Rand Paul's 2016 campaign. Failed in every aspect because they caved to what the advisors said instead of staying true to what got them there

If he is the nominee in 28 I will support him in a heartbeat - If it is between DeSantis and JD Vance, sorry Ronnie... gotta' go with JD - Especially after yesterday's Cabinet Meeting. He was amazing

agree with this 100%. Would support RD being the VP though

I'd vote for him if he won the primaries.

Right most people here didn't have a problem with Ron, it was his TDS fanboys that annoyed us... But the never-Trumper GOPe and neocons were definitely pushing for him to run for President to end Trump's political career. I spend a lot of time in Florida, near where Ron is from. I love him as Florida's Governor and he might make a great President someday.
