How did the alleged capital rioters get in?

Maybe I missed it, but one glaring issue with this whole “capital riot” and “planned coup” is how did these supposed rioters gain access to the freaking capital building of the United States? I would image it must have had a pretty secure door to get into the building. Has it ever been reported/confirmed how people gained access? I’ve read that the door was left open/unlocked, but that can’t be right. No one would be that neglectful in the face of a raging murderous mob. So did they smash in the doors? Blow them open? Steal a key or access code or pick the lock?
If you are going to honestly tell me that a mass of angry rioters with intent to overthrow the government and conduct a coup just happen to walk up to a door, that happened to be unlocked/open, and happened to find no one trying to stop them from entering and no one was stopping them from strutting around with a podium along with some junk mail....does that not strike anyone else (talking to you leftist bullshite artist) as a bit odd?

Just watched this break down of the shooting of Ashli Babbit— certainly looks like a couple of provocateurs who came prepared.
Passing helmets and changing attire— and then after getting the melee started, they scurry off, change clothes, go outside and tell those protestors what happened to get them riled up, and then make their way to a cnn or msnbc reporter and break down what they “witnessed” inside
I noticed from first photos showing the steps of capitol, you could tell that the folks at the very front of the pack were mostly all dressed in black, A lot had on full face masks, helmets, etc.-and then they Maybe had a MAGA hat on or were carrying a Gadsden or Trump flag. The guys climbing walls mostly had on black and helmets and such as well. Then as u start getting to the folks standing below the stairs and back, you see mostly red/blue colored clothing.. that was something that jumped out to me immediately when pics started circulating.
Has anybody EVER, in all of Trumps rallies, from 2015 to currently, seen any people wearing full face masks and/or helmets? gas masks? Carrying sticks and bats? I damn sure haven’t.
However, i have definitely seen a few other “groups” protests recently where that seems to be the required attire. I’m sure it’s total coincidence.
