Y’all are overthinking this. It’s more about the 10s of millions that make money or get money from government. That’s why the left has grown stronger.

Joe McCarthy was 100% correct

Because conservatives have slowly lost their resolve to fight. Just look at this board, there are so called conservatives who don’t believe in fighting for the unborn. In their opinion it’s a losing political cause.

I'll agree with that, but I think it has more to do with the education system becoming a surrogate of the government. Particularly after the department of education was created. It became easier for lazy leftist to get teaching jobs because they were too incompetent to get apply their knowledge in the real world. The government relied on quotats to hire unqualified people to take over the education system.
That's a big part of it. The engineering and computer science and the applied arts are usually lead by people who have a lot of prospects outside of academia. The liberal arts professors and academics don't have so many prospects outside of education so they fight like hell to keep feathering their position as a matter of economic life or death.

Have you ever met a conservative?
They will sell each other out in a heartbeat to get ahead.
Black caucus members have their way with conservatives. Conservatives bend the knee and play the race game in exchange for whatever the frick it is they get. Every education board is easy to take over that way. Virtually all boards and committees in Texas and Louisiana are completely over-run.

Hard men make soft times….
Socialism has become a product of our affluence. These blue haired freaks screaming on twitter and somehow “teaching” our children and “reporting” our news wouldn’t exist without the frozen aisle at the grocery store yet somehow they all manage to push 200 lbs and are granted a place in our society.
Its also our affluence that grants these people employment. I think the last 8 years have unequivocally proven there is absolutely no use for the legacy media institution.
K-12 Education is fast becoming a ubiquitously useless endeavour.
Post-secondary education is a bastion for virtual minded folks to grant meaning to their lives by taking up and crusading for a cause like theyre a hormonal pregnant woman at an HA meeting.
These are all just symptoms. The root cause is that our affluence has created the softest fricking time ever.
