How closely do you think the agencies monitor people like Laken Riley's parents after?

Do you think there are steps to thwart retribution against elected officials in instances like this?

If I was her father I would need monitoring. The mayor of Athens might be first on the list.

Pretty closely monitored, I'm sure. I would be shocked if they don't have some sort of auto-monitoring program to see where your cell phone is located, what transactions at your bank are posting, etc. The 4th Amendment was trampled on a long time ago.

Bureaucracy at its finest. Too many levels between the decision makers and the people they shite on.

When backlash happens or lawsuits the Bureaucracy takes it. The top is insulated.

Until those levels feel feel it nothing has a chance of changing.

So true

I have a daughter in college, man this hits home

it hurts man, legal or illegal, someone's daughter has been sensely murdered.

the fact that this dude a record in NYC and was released and this happened

it makes me so dang angry

it's everything we said was going ot happen

Trump is right yet again!

how many times does he have to be right before idiot citizens will wake up?

if you let a bunch of wild kitties into your home, in short order, they are going to change the environment...

I think those parents have been indirectly informed not to blow things up and make it political. Or else.

I would charge friends and family with keeping me in check for a year or two and then plot my slow, painful, quiet, insidious revenge against many many people. I mean imaginary fictional “me,” of course. The REAL me would never break any laws regardless of motive.

Exactly. I thinks this is why we haven't seen any form of backlash. They make sure of this.

If someone harmed my daughter or murdered her, I'm pretty sure I would end up in prison within a year.

The sad thing is that you don't see increased vigilante action from people after tragic shite like this murder happen. In this case, there's no inexplicable uptick in random violence against Venezuelans.

As a whole we simply want border security and we expect our elected officials will actually work in representing our interests. You know, their entire job description when you are allegedly elected to REPRESENT us.

There is a widespread expectation that our elected officials will do the right thing, even though they give us fewer and fewer reasons to believe that they will.

One of the Dad’s from Parkland was pretty outspoken and didn’t hide his support for President Trump.

They do more than monitor them.

They made Molly Tibbets parents adopt a bunch of illegal Mexicans after they killed their kid.

They would all regret the day they learned my daughter’s name. From MCG for hiring an illegal to the Athens Sheriff for stating he wouldn’t work with ICE.

I would sue all of them.

Are her parents part of the Democrat party?
