Charlie Kirk had a rep on that said Johnson invited reps to a SCIF to view why they needed it. I wonder what was shown to them in the SCIF that made so many change their vote?

Very true indeed…..

It’s for our own safety. So many enemies out there right.

It's a Politico article.
Of course they think it's a win because it furthers government power.

It's a win for Johnson because it's something he pushes for....and got

Read it again. It's win for Johnson. No one cares about Americans. Up next, passing the Ukraine bill--congress' main constituency.

So in 2018 the GOP-dominated and Trump-approved renewal was what?

A loss they voted for? Or a win, because it furthered government power?

The bill really means nothing. Even if it were not renewed the government would continue spying on us. Why wouldnt they? There is ZERO chance anyone is prosecuted regarding this.

Well unless Trump wins then they will probably indict him for doing it.

I get this but it's a pretty big step for them to continue spying if 702 is not re-authorized. Also, making this statement seems to be a tacit acknowledgement that our federal government is no longer legitimate.

I believe at one time, there was language that stated if a member of congress was to be surveilled, he was to be notified...

If so, Congress once again exempts themselves...
