When are republican voters going to learn? Their is no such thing as a conservative republican in congress. They talk a good game then get elected and spend money like a drunk Democrat. Trump is a liberal he talked a great game got elected and will spend money . This budget is a big frick you to the American people and a thank you to the industrial military complex. No surprise there as every GOP politician loves to spend money on the military to prove his patriotism. Vote 3rd party and these frickers will pay attention. Your wasting your time with the GOP and the DEMs.

Bold Prediction: In typical Democrat fashion, they will scream with outrage about the debt and out of control spending.

And the republicans would do so if this was a Dem spending bill. Is it all about your side winning? Aren't you tired of the populace losing?

Senator Rand Paul Like This Page · 3 hrs · Shame, shame. A pox on both Houses - and parties. Here’s the 2,232 page, $1.3 trillion, budget-busting Omnibus spending bill we received with just hours to try to read it before voting. Congress is broken.

This is ALL because of the Dems in the Senate. Change the rules so a simple majority can vote in a budget and this budget gets cut in half.

Not to say the GOP is perfect by any means, but in this particular instance the extra money was to to buy enough Democrats in the Senate who were not going to vote for a bill that wouldn't give them their goody basket

Everyone wonders why I'm sick of politics. This is it. Maybe 5 politicians have any sort of principles, the rest just choose to spend our money to buy our votes, while ultimately catering to lobbyists.

I agree. Thats why I railed on McConnell and that he should just switch parties.

Wow what? WHat I wrote is 100% factual. The entire Congress is essentially being held hostage by 8 Democratic Senators.

I would hope so but he never had a shot at the GOP nomination.

I don't understand why the Libertarian Party has not come crawling to him and beg him to run on their ticket.
