Time to get back to sounding the anti establishment horns and get some real conservatives in Congress. Paul Ryan proving everyday he’s a phony conservative leader.

It's broke up there, and it ain't getting fixed. The Republicans won't move the Rules to a simple Senate majority...and the Dems will in a heartbeat. A lot of Republicans are going to be canned for this woefully extravagant drunk-sailor vote...and no Wall.

It is time to sign up for the Convention of States petition. Take the power directly out of their hands. Rotten to the core up there.

No dipshit, blame him for running a shitty campaign.

Are we supposed to be fricking clairvoyant?

His campaign was run fine... Everyone wanted the flashy billionaire outsider who made big promises. We got the candidate this party and country deserved.

This was a big win for democrats courtesy of Ryan/McConnell.

What got funded: sanctuary cities, CDC research into "gun violence", more H2B worker visas,

What didn't get funded: the wall.

Rand Paul is amazing on some things, but borders, language, and culture don't make the list. Those were the driving forces of the last election. Trump was the only caNdidate in either party to address them. The rest is history.

No his campaign was not "fine".

The point is to win. Nothing else matters. It isn't a senior project for poli sci class.

I don't think Trump is a deficit hawk for sure; He's a Builder, and in this case, a rebuilder. Military first.

Looks like they may be giving the Dems their stuff in order to make it past the Midterms; if the House were to flip...there would be hell for Trump's Agenda. The OIG Report will change the dynamic, and be the impetus for a lot of cleanout/restructuring of the existing Deep State power structure. And don't forget the Supreme Court vacancies. I guess that those are more important than a single year's spending; once power is assumed...they can address the rest.

That aside...the Wall being ignored will inflame the Right. Somebody will pay for that.

This spending bill is a disgrace and an Obomination. Paul Ryan is what i always thought, and that is a GOPe cuck. I hate them all (except Rand Paul). They are criminals that sell out this country to the highest bidder on a daily basis. Rand Paul is the only person in DC that gives two shits about doing his job. I can't believe some of the shite that was pushed through in this bill.

Wonder if anyone would notice if we had no Dept of Energy

Put oversight of nuclear waste in DOD and let supply & demand be our Energy policy

I found it! I found it! Border security, what President Trump wanted!

no . . .wait a minute section says Defense can spend what funds it determines to enhance the border security of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, and Tunisia

and I’m STILL reading. This bill is no @bradthor thriller.

All told, we’ve spent over a trillion dollars in this budget busting category.

hmm . . . that would mean we shouldn’t be spending $ in undeclared wars in Yemen, Libya, Niger, Somalia, Afghanistan

wonder why the party that talks about the rule of law, doesn’t obey the rule of law?

o $12m for Scholarships for Lebanon
o $20m for Middle East Partnership Initiative Scholarship Program
o $12m in military funding for Vietnam
o $3.5m in nutrition assistance to Laos
o $15m in Developmental assistance to China
o $10m for Women LEOs in Afghanistan

quote:
o $1m for the World Meteorological Organization
o $218m for Promoting Democracy Development in Europe (yep..the birthplace of democracy needs promoting)
o $25m for International Religious Freedom
o $10m for disadvantaged Egyptian Students

quote:
o $1.371bn for Contributions to International Organizations
o $51m to promote International Family Planning and Reproductive Health
o $7m promoting International Conservation
o $10m for UN Environmental Programs

Above list makes my stomach sick. Why can't we save the money to less our deficit spending or spend it on ourselves?
