it was never republicans vs democrats. it's deep state vs the people. the D.C. crowd for the most part have been bought off. plus, they have gerrymandered districts so that there are very few competitive districts. you won't be held responsible for how you vote. it's all about fundraising.

Interesting to see this premise is about winning and losing congressional elections, and not about actually governing when in charge.

spineless pieces of shite. We need Majorie Taylor Green to take over as Speaker.

Will their life get easier/harder and their paycheck smaller if the House is lost? Playing the 'victim' role is a lot easier than assuming the burden of discomforting leadership.
Bottom line: of course many Republicans in purple districts hope they lose, so they don't have to be accountable for non-action against the status quo.

The MSM promised a Christian nationalist government when Speaker Johnson took power. We should have known right then it would be another do nothing congress, the MSM only lies
We were always likely to lose the house in 2026 (rare for same party as POTUS to win mid terms), but I don’t know how they win at this point. The base won’t be fired up, we’re over 100 days in and they haven’t done shite. Everything accomplished has been through executive order
