honestly, he talked as though he trusted douchebag Woodward.
Did he know Woodward was recording the convo?? Did he give him permission to release? was this off the record?
I don't have a problem with what he said but seriously...
And don't think this wasn't leaked today to get the new cycle away from talking about leaving Iraq

Listen I think Trumps messaging on Covid was terrible. He was a shitty public face of the response.

I am sure you can find one of my posts that talks about Trump downplaying this to stem panic and protect the roaring economy. Nothing he did cost lives. If anyone claims that he is than so should many politicians who were downplaying the virus even more than Trump and beyond the timeframe when Trump started shutting travel down.

The irony of this is that's EXACTLY what Faucci et al did in regards to mask wearing! Whether you agree with their effectiveness or not, they DEFINITELY thought they were going to be effective and deliberately told the public not to wear them, because in doing so it would have naturally caused a run on the higher grade masks used as PPE for healthcare workers. After the fact when supplies met needs, THEN you started getting talk of the importance of masks and even telling people to make their own.
If Faucci gets a pass for misleading for a good cause, you'd think Trump might for the very same reason.
