Awwww how cute. Maybe you should check out what happened in 1853.

Ya know.... when the evil white man forced their will and way upon Japan and took complete advantage over them.

So japan became a US colony in 1853? Is that what you’re suggesting?

This empire was built by immigration though.

How would you describe the difference between immigration and illegal criminal aliens breaching the law?

In all but name. We opened them up to the world and forced our will on them at their expense.

Seems like colonization without the name to me.

Can you call European immigration to Native American occupied North America “legal”?

To the victor goes the spoils.

Sure can call it legal. Don’t like it? Take it back.

All is fair in love and war.

It’s okay. I have time. Lay it out for me like I’m a child.

So you're saying there is no difference between an artificially populated colony that's lacked self-determination for virtually its entire existence and an archipelago that was settled eons ago and first unified before the Dark Ages?

K.

Link to where I've ever said anything of the sort?

"Honest" discussion indeed.

So you’re saying that the Taíno and Arawakan people of Haiti and PR didn’t have self determination and a culture before the white man?

Bold claim. Bold claim.

Oh... and your lack of knowledge is on full display Re: Japanese history. at japan being unified since the dark ages

Do you have to read between the lines on the following comment?

quote:
There isn't a country on this Earth run by brown people that is anywhere near as desirable to live as those run by white Western Europeans.

To correlate that statement to implied racism?? Yes.

I said first unified. Words matter.

I'm well aware of the feudal fractions.

Oh idk. A number of centuries of forging a national identity and a homogenous population seem like some good differences to start with.

Seems like you weren’t talking modern day here.

Look, I get it. You have no answer so you just run around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. It’s okay. It’ll be alright. I promise

What does a “first” unification mean when that “unification” was shattered time and time and time again.
