Hmm, so he's using interviews, in some cases with potentially disgruntled people, which presumably he'll back up with documentary evidence, to form an argument to put to a jury, as to why certain individuals should be found guilty of certain crimes.

The CIA, FBI and Special Counsel were undoubtedly politicized during Watergate. The investigators were just going after any old crime. Hell they convicted a bunch of Cubans and one former CIA guy, but it could have been the USSR or CHINA or some 400lb burglar for all we know.

Would you be satisfied if Mueller found out that "yeah, Trump's activities actually fits the definition of "collusion with the russkies to defeat HRC," but he didn't intend to violate any particular law, so we don't think he should be prosecuted."
If any prominent conservative did 1/10 of what HRC has done in her lifetime, he'd have been in jail before he had the chance to come close to HRC"s tally of corrupt, criminal activity.

Under these premises, why no special prosecutor to investigate the possibility that Clinton had Seth Rich murdered? ==== al least in that case you have an actual murder to investigate.
