My favorite book. She has it completely backwards, and is a pathetic ignoramus.

Of course I know well that most here believe implicitly that "our system" is completely devoid of actual ideological pluralism--in spite of all evidence to the contrary.

I don't think "most" of us believe that, NT; hell, the very fact that our System's economic viability is being challenged by overtly 'Socialist' Policy (Entitlements) is proof of Ideological diversity.
What Conservatives fear, is that Global Progressives would like to and in fact are attempting to utterly discredit (morally), invalidate and totally remove the Conservative Ideology (Individualist/God Paradigm) from power...and even from the Historical Record. Therein, the catfight.

2. Polls - the 2016 election showed they're horribly skewed to favor DEMs
3. SMEs - much more neutral than the others but expertise has been shown to be untrustworthy (look at how we can't replicate studies in all fields) and biased to the liberal side (eliminating the ability to study/discuss certain issues)
