man honestly all this peoples house bullshite. frick that. everyday people got to go in and fight and make history on this card. nearly 200k spectators were able to go out and enjoy the park, along with the thousands that were lucky enough to be at the actual fight. Those of us watching the television were able to see the inside of the white house. I have never seen the white house except for the occasional press conference etc. to be able to see it in its glory during the walkouts was straight awesome.

He has a great book from his time in the WH carrying the nuke football for Clinton. The book is called Dereliction of Duty and it is a very good read.
One of the scenes he describes in his book is the fact that they had the opportunity to take out Osama Bin Laden prior to Sept 11th, but after the embassy attacks. Sandy Berger was in the situation room at the WH trying to get in touch with Clinton to order the strike. There was human intelligence and confirmation of OSL's location and we had pilots in cockpits on the carrier waiting to launch as well as cruise missles. Clinton was at the Ryder Cup and trying to see and talk to golfers. He couldn't be bothered. Col Patterson attempted multiple times to call him over to have him speak to Berger and Clinton refused. WHen he finally decided to come over to speak to Berger, Berger told him nevermind, we lost the window of opportunity and it closed.

The U.S. Marshal's office had to contact the Clintons 3 times before they completed arrangements to return all the WH property to the WH. Re Haiti & the Clinton Foundation, a MD friend went there as part of the Doctors With No Borders group after the storm that smashed the country &, his words upon return to the U.S. were " The entire country hates the Clintons as all the money went to their Foundation & it's director, a Clinton friend, & all the country received was approximately 10% of the millions donated for the country's rebuilding .
