It's rarely an actual whistleblower that has a moral or ethical issue they want to raise. It seems to be more and more a political attack.

This guy actually agreed with some trump policy in emails while with CDC.
Now he is obviously against anything trump did.
Honestly in terms of just harmful organizations, the CDC is vying with the WHO as the mostly useless organization that also released dangerous guidelines...
