The Dept of Defense and the House Sergeant at arms both said there were no discussions with Congressional leaders about deploying National Guard troops until January 6th. The DoD said they had no order from Trump at all.

With all that said, the President requested from the Congress, through the majority leader in the house, and the come back is, Trump gave no order.

Well Pelosi's office also said they never received a request either, but I know y'all wouldn't believe that so I didn't bother mentioning it.
The "10,000 troop request" that Trump mentioned seems to be coming from this exchange:

The president, Miller recalled, asked how many troops the Pentagon planned to turn out the following day. He said that. And we’re like, ‘Maybe. But you know, someone’s going to have to ask for it.’" At that point Miller remembered the president telling him, "‘You do what you need to do. If they have credible intel regarding threats, they still have to prepare. They apparently had that intel before Jan. 6th and it was ignored. Obviously they are going all out now to be sure they don't have egg on their face a second time.
