It is not some fait accompli.

The right side is saying "who the hell cares" and letting them fight it out. Both sides are equally shite, and we have no reason spending money on a conflict we didn't create (for once) and doesn't impact our national security. We tried peaceful diplomacy with them for decades, and clearly it isn't what either side wants, so let them kill each other until they figure it out.

Well, since Iran does not have a nuke, nor are they close to getting one, if said nuke were launched from that area, it would have had to habe come from the nation that stole nuclear material from us.
